  Brett Heard - Partner
As a twenty-year veteran to the film and television industry, both in front of and behind the camera, Brett brings a valuable and unique perspective to all of his projects. After putting in his time on the Ad agency side of the business working with Baker Lovick (now BBDO), Brett set out to further explore his creativity, spending six years performing stand-up comedy in clubs across Canada and the United States, including a stint at the Riviera in Las Vegas. Stepping in front of the camera, he has appeared in over one hundred U.S. and Canadian commercials along with re-occurring roles in television series, movies of the week, and big budget Hollywood features where he worked alongside Mathew Perry, Will Farrell, Sylvester Stallone and many others. Shifting his focus to the other side of the camera, Brett has written and directed multiple commercials and television pilots, as well as several short films and stage plays. In 2004 he joined with Chris Miles to form Lucky Friday Productions which currently has several projects for film and television in various stages of production.

  Chris Miles - Partner
Chris began his involvement in the entertainment industry when he decided to follow his love for music by going into sound recording after completing his degree in economics from the University Of Guelph. This led to a 5 year stint at Alliance Post Production, where he honed his skills on Avid & Lightworks edit suites. Through this experience he began editing and producing trailers and corporate videos for Alliance. Not forgetting that sound was what got him there, while in post production Chris saw an opportunity to create Vagabond Studios, Canada's first mobile ADR studio. Actors are able to now record their ADR on set. Vagabond has worked on such projects as Relic Hunter, Little Men, Witchblade, Mutant X, and Baywatch. During this time Chris was instrumental in setting up the technical side of Gun For Hire Casting Studios. Through this experience he developed a knowledge and contact base in the industry which allowed him to create his own casting studio. Milestone Casting Studios has since become the most technically advanced and well respected stand alone casting facility in Toronto. Most recently he has joined forces with Brett Heard to form Lucky Friday Productions and together have produced and directed TV pilots, films and commercials, working with the likes of Sheila McCarthy, Rick Mercer, Colin Mochrie, Peter Oldring, Pat Kelly and more. Chris is extremely excited with the opportunity to bring his technical skills and business experience to the Lucky Friday team, helping to create a new model for production in Toronto.
